About The Authors:

John Doughty has been nature printing plants for over 25 years and teaching others almost as long. He has developed many innovative techniques and worked to simplify nature printing so those of all ages and skills can inexpensively produce permanent images of plants on various materials. He is past president of the Nature Printing Society and had two works selected for a year-long exhibit at the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History in Washington, D.C.

Sonja Larsen was the NPS newsletter editor for 10 years, editing the NPS book, "The Art of Printing From Nature" now in its fifth edition. Her work is in "Paper Art" by Maurer-Matheson and "Natural Impressions" by Carolyn Dahl. She has led NPS workshops and her own June workshop in central Minnesota for over ten years. Her work is in collections from Japan to Germany. Her botanical prints were juried into two museum exhibits of nature prints.
